About the Mail Club

What is the By the Seasons mail club?

By the Seasons is a monthly postal membership designed to help you slow down and live more intentionally throughout the year. Each edition is created by Roxanne in her home studio and arrives as a beautifully curated envelope through your letterbox each month.

What’s included in each month’s edition?

Each month, members receive:

  • An original seasonal art print featuring an animal active in the UK that month
  • A vegetarian recipe card inspired by what is in season that month
  • A rituals card with seasonal activities
  • A personal letter exploring the themes of the month
  • A sticker

Everything is wrapped in custom-designed vellum paper and packaged in a recycled kraft envelope. High-quality art paper is used for the artwork, and recycled/recyclable materials are used wherever possible.

Can I gift a membership?

By the Seasons makes a thoughtful gift for family and friends. Whilst there isn’t a separate gift subscription purchase, you can purchase either a monthly subscription or a prepaid membership, and have the envelopes sent directly to the recipient by including their address details in checkout. If you’d like to add a gift note, you can do so at checkout as well.

When will I receive my first edition?

Your first edition depends on when you place your order.

In the UK:

  • Orders placed on or before the 21st of the month receive the following month’s edition.
    (Example: order on the 16th of February and receive the March edition.)
  • Orders placed after the 21st receive the edition for the month after next.
    (Example: order on the 22nd of February and receive the April edition.)

International:

  • Orders placed on or before the 16th of the month receive the following month’s edition.
    (Example: order on the 8th of February and receive the March edition.)
  • Orders placed after the 16th receive the edition for the month after next.
    (Example: order on the 17th of February and receive the April edition.)

This schedule ensures there is enough time to prepare and post each month’s mail. Envelopes are posted around the 21st of each month for international members and the 26th of each month for UK members (i.e. the March edition is posted on the 21st/26th of February to arrive at the beginning of March).

Subscriptions & Billing

When will I be billed?

For subscription members, automatic billing will occur on the same day each month as your initial purchase. The 3, 6, and 12‑month prepaid options are billed at purchase and do not renew automatically.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime through your subscription portal (the magic link is included in your order email). If you cancel before the monthly billing date, you will not be charged for the next edition.

How do I update my delivery address?

You can update your address at any time through your subscription portal (the magic link is included in your order email). To ensure your envelope is sent to the correct address, please make any changes before the monthly shipping date of the 21st (International) 26th (UK).

Shipping & Support

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international shipping is available. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on location, and international orders may take longer to arrive than UK orders. International orders are mailed approximately one week earlier than UK orders.

What if my mail is damaged or doesn’t arrive?

If your envelope hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe, or if it arrives damaged, please get in touch via the contact page to issue a replacement. As mail is sent via standard Royal Mail 2nd class post, occasional delays can occur.
